Looking for challenge, adventure, fun and friends? Are you between 12 and 18 years old? The 2688 Bridgwater Army Cadets is looking for you! Come check us out on Tuesday nights, 7 PM at the AEF Bldg, and we would be happy to tell you all about it.

Army Cadets is a fun and challenging program for youth with a long history of training our young people to be capable young adults and responsible Canadian citizens. We accept new members between the ages of 12 and 18 all throughout our training year, and everything is free of charge to the parents, including uniforms, training, camping trips and special events.

Army Cadets are involved in a variety of different activities, including Marksmanship using the Daisy air rifle, camping and survival skills, Map and Compass, Drill, Citizenship and Physical Fitness. Cadets who do well in their training during the year also have the opportunity to attend summer training centres all throughout Canada, the main one being Camp Argonaut, which is located in Gagetown, New Brunswick. As cadets move higher in the ranks, they even have the opportunity to attend international exchanges to places like Wales, Germany, France and England.

Again, all of these opportunites are provided free of charge to cadets who qualify.

We encourage young people who are looking to have fun, meet new friends, and challenge themselves to be the best that they can be to come and see what we do. We train every Tuesday night at the AEF building on the Harold Whynot road, or you can contact our Commanding Officer, Lt. Amanda Gaul at (902) 685-2908.

Hope to see you there!
