Our passion and knowledge of music combined with an extensive music library means that we can play the music people want to hear. Plus, we invest in commercial grade sound and light equipment so that you can be confident in a professional presentation and high quality audio experience.

Our show includes a high quality audio system able to suit virtually any size venue, and the ability to play music from various digital formats with a expansive music library of various styles and eras. A high energy light show is the perfect accompaniment to the sounds that will entertain you.
For formal functions such as Weddings and Corporate events etc., we can also provide audio systems for announcements (and provide announcement services if required).

Steve Tanner grew up in the Lunenburg area and has been a professional Disc Jockey since 1977. He began as a D.J. for dances in the late 70's and in the early 80's Steve began spinning tunes at high school dances, weddings, and at Roller Wheels, a popular roller skating rink in Bridgewater at the time.
In the mid 80's Steve studied Radio and T.V. Broadcasting at Kingstec in Kentville and received a diploma in that field in 1986. Upon graduation, Steve immediately accepted a position as an on-air personality with AVR and Magic 97 (now Magic 94.9) in Kentville. After a successful two years with AVR, he decided to return to his home turf and joined the staff at Acadia Broadcasting Company (CKBW) in Bridgewater. During his 10 years with CKBW, Steve performed every shift from evenings, mid-day, afternoon drive to the morning show, and for a time was the music director there. While at CKBW, Steve received a nomination for music director of the year from the Canadian Country Music Association.
In 1991 Steve accepted a position as D.J. at Tomorrow's Lounge in the Bridgewater Mall where he performed his D.J. services from one to three nights a week for 17 years to large crowds on an almost nightly basis. Steve continued in this capacity until 2007 when he felt it was time for a change.
In addition to running his D.J. service, Steve holds a senior position in advertising sales with Lighthouse Media Group selling newspaper, print, and multimedia advertising. A career that is very much in line with his engaging personality and commitment to customer service. One of the activities Steve enjoys at Lighthouse Media Group is the weekly internet sports talk show he hosts on southshorenow.ca with former CFL star Terry Baker and writer/reporter Patrick Hirtle. This allows him to keep his hand in the video broadcasting side of things which he still has a passion for.
Steve considers himself fortunate as the D.J. business affords him the opportunity to be paid for doing something he loves! He is grateful to those who have recognized his ability to turn almost any function into a "good time had by all" and looks forward to continuing his relationship with both existing and new clients.
